This paper presents a comprehensive and practical methodology for designing and implementing a modern, aesthetically refined, and technically robust network monitoring dashboard by integrating OpenWRT, Prometheus, and Grafana. The proposed architecture delivers real-time visibility into network performance, device health, and traffic patterns through a fully open-source stack. The system is tailored for scalability, enabling its deployment in diverse environments, from home networks to small-to-medium enterprises and research laboratories. A working prototype has been developed and evaluated, demonstrating the framework’s effectiveness in performance tracking, anomaly detection, and alert automation. By leveraging open standards, this approach ensures transparency, cost-efficiency, and long-term adaptability compared to proprietary monitoring solutions.
